Hypnotherapy uses focused attention to work with patterns that can be hard to shift through thinking alone. It's collaborative, and you stay aware and in charge throughout the process.
It varies. You might feel deeply relaxed, focused, absorbed, imaginative, or simply more tuned in to what's happening inside. There's no one feeling you need to have for hypnosis to be useful.
No. You can have a busy mind and still do this work. We work with your attention as it is rather than trying to force you into a particular state.
No. You can speak, move, open your eyes, pause, or stop at any time. Hypnosis is something we do together, not something that's done to you.
Generative trance is a flexible way of working with focused attention, imagination, body experience, and whatever is happening in the moment. Instead of following the same script every time, we use what's already there to help you experience another response or possibility.
Coaching helps us get specific about what happens in daily life and what you want to be different. Hypnotherapy lets us rehearse and work with the automatic part of the response rather than only talking about it. The two are used together so insight has somewhere to go when the moment arrives.
Yes. Most sessions are online and available nationwide across the US. You just need a comfortable, private place where you can talk and participate without needing to do anything special.
We clarify what you want to work on, look at how the pattern shows up day to day, and review scope and consent before beginning the work. There's time for hypnosis or generative trance in the first session, and you leave with something simple you can continue working with afterward.
It depends on what you want to work on and how much room the pattern needs. Three sessions can make sense for one focused target. Six is the option we recommend most often for a repeating pattern because it gives us time to practice, see how it goes during the week, and adjust. Ten sessions may make sense when several patterns are connected. We decide together, and you don't need to commit to more than you need.
Yes. Hypnosis can be useful when procrastination involves an automatic response, expectation, thought, or feeling that keeps showing up around the same task. We first get specific about what's happening, then decide whether coaching, hypnosis, or a combination makes sense.

If the problem has become chronic insomnia, CBT-I or another appropriate sleep evaluation may also be important.

Yes. This work can sit alongside therapy or other forms of care. Echo's Answer focuses on coaching, hypnotherapy, and generative trance and does not replace psychotherapy, medical treatment, or crisis care.
When it fits the session, yes. I may provide a recording of the guided hypnosis portion so you can use it between sessions. These client recordings contain the hypnosis itself, not the private conversation or check-in around it.
Sessions take place through private video, and client information and records are handled through the practice's client systems rather than public website forms. I also encourage you to join from a space where you feel comfortable speaking freely.
No. Some people notice a meaningful shift quickly, but I do not promise one session cures or guaranteed outcomes. The work is usually about practicing, testing, and adjusting a different response over time.
If information or advice were the missing piece, you may already have enough of it. We focus on the moment the plan stops translating into action, then use coaching and hypnosis to work with that pattern directly. The goal isn't to give you a better checklist. It's to make the next response easier to access when you need it.
