You don't have to fit neatly into one category. These are common places people begin. If more than one area applies, we'll sort through it together during a consult and choose the simplest place to start.
Once we know what you want support with, we can decide how much structure makes sense: three sessions for a focused pattern, six for a repeating pattern that needs practice and adjustment, or more room when several areas are connected.
ADHD and executive function
For when you know what to do but can't reliably get yourself to start.
- •Common starting points: procrastination spirals, avoidance, time blindness, task switching, shutdown, perfectionism, and systems that work for a week and then disappear.
- •What we practice in session: we slow down the first minute of the loop and find a smaller point where you can interrupt it, restart, or move to the next thing.
- •Good fit if: you know what to do, but starting, switching, or finishing keeps falling apart in the moment.
Life transitions
Support for endings and new starts.
- •Common starting points: feeling stuck between versions of yourself, grief, fear of the next move, loss of identity.
- •What we practice in session: we slow down the pressure to have the whole answer, work with the uncertainty that's already there, and help you find a next move that feels like yours.
- •Good fit if: you feel stuck between versions of yourself and want a steadier way to move through endings and new starts.
Pain and symptom modulation
More room around pain and symptoms.
- •Common starting points: flare anxiety, bracing, scanning, fatigue, frustration, sleep disruption.
- •What we practice in session: we use hypnotic skills to shift attention, reduce bracing, and create more comfort and choice in the moment.
- •Good fit if: pain or symptoms are taking up too much attention and you want more comfort and choice without pushing your body.
Habit change, harm reduction
Change without all or nothing.
- •Common starting points: all or nothing resets, shame cycles, numbing habits, rebound patterns.
- •What we practice in session: we look at what happens before the habit, what the habit is doing for you in the moment, and how to recover after a slip without turning it into a full reset.
- •Good fit if: you keep getting caught between strict rules and giving up and want a way to change without starting over every time.
Sleep and stress
When your brain won't switch off.
- •Common starting points: racing mind, late night scrolling, second wind, waking up wired, and turning bedtime into another problem to solve.
- •What we practice in session: we work with the racing mind and the body staying “on,” then build a wind down pattern that can survive imperfect days.
- •Good fit if: you're tired but your brain keeps going, or sleep advice has started to feel like one more job to do.
